Berry Cobbler

 
 

This cobbler recipe can be made with a variety of summer fruits— raspberries, peaches, apricots, blackberries, blueberries, plums, cherries, and more!

1/4 cup butter

1 cup white sugar

1 cup milk

1 cup flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

2 cups berries or tart cherries

1/4 cup white sugar

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Place berries in the bottom of a 9x9 inch baking dish.

  2. Melt butter in a shallow saucepan

  3. Mix 1 cup of white sugar, milk, flour, and baking powder in a bowl and pour into pan with the melted butter.

  4. Pour mixture over berries. DO NOT MIX. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/4 cup white sugar.

  5. Bake for 40-50 minutes, until golden brown. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream!
